Leon Botha served 12 years in the military of which six was in the South African National Defence Force and the last six was in the Royal Marines Commandos. Before joining the military Leon competed at national level in Swimming and Gymnastics holding records and gaining multiple medals in both. Along with his qualifications Leon draws on his years serving and competing to provide high level coaching to all levels alongside his programming with CompeteWod.

Adam Marsh– Adam also holds his CF-L1 Qualification having very recently passed with flying colours. Adam gained his passion for coaching whilst a member of the gym and is now able to bring his new coaching skills to his fellow members.
Zoe Webb - Holds her Level 3 Personal trainer
Qualification. She has been doing CrossFit for 4 years and loves to compete, a lot.
Zoe also had a baby 1 year ago and has since focused on gaining and sharing knowledge of training while pregnant and post natal.
Kelvin Gibbs - Holds his Level 2 Functional Fitness Coaching, Level 2 Strength Training & Kettle Bell Instructor Awards
Kelvin has been doing Functional Fitness for 3 years and is the gym owner and 'Dad' of the gym.
Kelvin is dedicated to helping others develop and survive all life's mental and physical challenges. He loves coaching all levels of athlete and has a passion for introducing fitness into the lives of complete beginners, getting all ages and abilities into functional fitness and showcasing how it can change their lives for the better.
Our programming is done by Former Royal Marines Commando, Leon Botha. Leon draws from 12 years of military experience being at and getting others to the pinnacle of human physical fitness, along with his extensive qualifications. This means that our programming is all encompassing and ensures that members see development in all areas while staying injury free.
Our programming is tailored specifically for the gym, taking into consideration the available space, equipment and the level of the class members.
Although WTB Fitness boasts a number of very high level athletes from the Ironman, Functional Fitness and Olympic Weightlifting worlds, our main focus is on the health of our members. Both immediate and later on in life.
That is why we have a good focus on strength training which increases bone density and muscular strength and thus prevents multiple age related diseases.
